Karl Michael “K.M.” Dehmelt is an American writer who currently lives in Madrid, Spain. While a student at Loyola University Maryland, he published three books with Apprentice House Press of Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. His fourth, the satire Daft Mejora’s Infinite Madness, was published through the Internet Archive in 2022 as a freely accessible work of art. Karl has attended the Kenyon Review Writers’ Workshops in Fiction and is a member of the Magnificent Shit, an international collective of writers whom he met in Patmos, Greece, due to their shared appreciation of Mary Karr and George Saunders. “When you have something beautiful, you fight for it!”
